Activity 5: To teach a content /lesson using an Interactive whiteboard

To teach a content /lesson using an Interactive whiteboard

A Smart board is an electronic whiteboard, often used to replace regular whiteboards and providing an opportunity to connect teacher work with the computer.

A Smart board allows for interactive technology, or technology that works hand in hand with the people who are using it, in many cases for teaching and learning.

Steps involved in the usage of interactive white board.

  • Make sure your computer is turned on. You can get your computer in synch with your Smartboard, here we used the version Eyeris 3.0.
  •  When you see an icon in the upper left corner of your screen, touch it with your finger or a Smart board pen. Continue until the icon stops appearing.
  • Work the Smart board with your fingers. Touching the screen once is like clicking on the left mouse button. Touching and holding the screen is like clicking a right mouse button. You can move objects on the screen by touching and dragging them along using a finger.
  • Use Smart board pens to write on the screen just like a regular whiteboard.
  •  You can do this even when the computer is projecting something else onto the screen. After you replace the pens, erase with the board eraser, or clear all writing at once by tapping the board and selecting 'Clear ink.'
  • The pen learned the hard way to always save her work frequently, just as you would with any computer.
  •  You can create files to save your notes.
